Afternoon Retreat "The Great Outdoors"

Bridgewater Afternoon Retreat Candle

In the Upstate of South Carolina we are blessed to have easy access to beautiful hiking trails, national parks, and stunning waterfalls. The seasonal sweet spot between the scorching days of summer and the frigid nights of winter make for the ideal time to explore the great outdoors that surround us. For a few of us at the office that means spending more time sipping coffee on the back porch, while for others it means strapping on some boots and heading out for a brisk hike.

The natural beauty of our great state inspires artists, writers, and our very own fragrance team. Taking to the mountains for inspiration, Afternoon Retreat was born of morning fog in mountain valleys and the crisp tang the air has as the sun rises to chase away the night. Fresh bergamot gives a splash of tang while soft moss pulls the senses towards dawn. Teak and sandalwood provide a sturdy base for fragrance to build on. So even if you’re stuck inside, light a candle or give a spritz of room spray, close your eyes, and breathe deep the smell of weekend camping and morning conversation.
