Servings: 3 Cups

Total Cook Time: 30 minutes

1/2 medium cabbage (thinly shredded and chopped)

1 large carrot (grated)

2 shallots (thinly sliced)

1 small white onion (thinly sliced)

5 habanero peppers (stemmed, deseeded, and thinly sliced)

1 green bell pepper (thinly sliced)

4 sprigs thyme

1 teaspoon salt

3 cups white vinegar

1 lime (juiced)

 

Combine all ingredients in a large mason jar or resealable container and shake to combine. Let sit for a few hours before serving.

Pikliz can keep for about a month after making.
