Over 820 million people suffer from hunger, and even more struggle to afford nutritious food. To create a world with #ZeroHunger, the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations has dedicated October 16, 2019 as a day to take action against global hunger. World Food Day isn’t meant to live in the category of “social media holidays.” This is a day when organizations around the world come together to present solutions for the global hunger crisis.
